Band Bags A Rehears-hall!

At around midday on the 30th March, 2010 The Romford Drum & Trumpet corps signed on the dotted line that would bring the dream of calling someplace ‘Home’ a reality.

After two long years of attending endless meetings, making phone call after phone call, the hard work from all the team has finally paid off.  The Romford Drum & Trumpet Corps secured a long term lease at The Ingrebourne School Hall which is to be renamed at a later date. The band’s new property will mean more than just a place they can call their own, as it will introduce a new turning point for the future of rehearsals, fundraising and social activities.

Over the years the Band has been based at countless halls, schools and community centres which, to say the least, have made it challenging to settle down.

The Ingrebourne School has already started its first stage of a massive renovation process and with all the help and support from the members and their families, it is planned to be completed and fully functional within the next few months.
