Academy Launched with a Flourish.

On 2nd February the band opened its doors to the new academy for 8-10 year olds, and had 16 very enthusiastic young faces keen and eager to enrol and get started. 

This new academy has come as the result of a number of younger brothers and sisters of current band members wanted to get involved but being too young for rehearsal hours. Therefore every Tuesday from 6.30pm - 7.30pm the young people get a combination of music and marching tuition. 

As with the band, the membership, tuition and instrument are free on loan and we have a few more instruments spare, before we start a waiting list.
